The government has decided that all school in the state should have toilets. There are 196 schools not having toilet facilities. the cabinet had decided that toilets should be constructed in these 196 schools within 100 days using SSA funds.
In the aided recognised schools there are 1101 that are not having toilets. The management should construct toilets using there own fund.
Fitness certificate will not given schools not having toilets. At present fitness certificate is given on the basis of security of buildings. From now own toilet facility will be included. No student will be permitted in schools from next year having no basic facilities.
